Parenting with Love and limits® (PLL)

"Scientifically Proven to Restore and Strengthen Families”

Parenting with Love and Limits® (PLL) is for families with youth ages 10 – 17 who exhibit chronic emotional or behavioral red flags.

PLL teaches specific skills to:

  • Stop difficult behaviors
  • Repair the parent-child relationship
  • Stop disrespect in its tracks
  • Stop Button-Pushing
  • Stop negative peer relationships
  • Create effective rules and consequences

PLL is brief and effective.

Through 6 weeks of group family therapy paired with 6-10 weeks of individual family coaching, PLL will ultimately help caregivers establish both “love and limits.”

PLL has demonstrated effectiveness in reducing aggressive, rule-breaking, and oppositional/defiant behaviors, as well as improving family communication and overall family satisfaction. It has been listed as an effective evidence-based model by SAMHSA and OJJDP.
